Responsibilities

Kathleen is a part of the administrative hub that supports the region. She is one of our front-line workers, responding to inquiries and requests for information, and connecting people to the resources that they need.

Kathleen Jones (she/her) Experience and Biography

Kathleen grew up in a rural area outside of Port Elgin Ontario.  She attended Laurentian University in Sudbury where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics.   She began her work in the United Church as the volunteer treasurer in a small church in 2010.  In 2016 after raising her four children, she took on the role as the Office Administrator of Southampton United Church and added the administrative responsibility of Port Elgin United Church in 2019. In addition, Kathleen enjoys walking along the shores of Lake Huron, sitting in the sun with a sudoku puzzle and spending time with her family.
