We Are All Water Protectors: Environmental Racism and Reimagining Water Stewardship
Join us for a free, day-long and evening event, largely led by Indigenous leaders, where Ceremony and Ancestral Water Knowledge will underpin the whole gathering. A Sacred Fire will be lit at 8:30 am, and programing will begin at 10 am, see the program below for detailed information. An art installation will be unveiled, our Indigenous garden and a Great Lakes floor map can be explored, and there will be book sales, activist art projects, and opportunities to visit with Indigenous organization leaders and community water activists. A feast will be shared at 5:30 pm, followed by music and story-telling in the evening. All ages welcome. Come for the whole day/evening, or just a few hours.
