Celebrating Women in Ministry: In Honour of Dr. Marion Pope

On May 26, 2026 from 1:00-6:00 p.m. join us at Emmanuel College, third floor for an afternoon of storytelling,
reflection and celebration as we honour the life and legacy of Dr. Marion Pope.

Marion Pope was a United Church of Canada diaconal minister and nurse who served in Korea for 36 years. Her ministry was marked by a deep commitment to education, music, social justice and the global church.

This special gathering will offer an opportunity to share stories, reflect on Marion’s legacy and consider the ongoing work of women in ministry today.

The program will include panel discussions, presentations and musical offerings.
