For the Taneebs, Fayez, Mona and son Oday, harvesting pesticide-free agriculture that they take to a local market is a constant struggle. Hakoritna, the name of their farm, is caught between an Israeli factory that manufactures fertilizers and agrochemicals, and Israel’s separation barrier.
We will learn the historical context of the area and take a tour of Hakoritna and how the family resists the occupation. Mona will cook a traditional meal and share her recipe.
