Eun-Joo works with those Communities of Faith and ministry personnel in the region that are located south of Highway 407. 

Responsibilities

Eun-Joo provides support for the region by encouraging and connecting communities of faith as they adapt and experiment in changing times. She also works along with Dale and Todd, to enourage and support ministry personnel.

Eun-Joo and Dale work with churches south of the 407 and Todd takes the lead north of the highway.

Eun-Joo Park (she/her) Experience and Biography

Eun-Joo was born and raised in Korea until she moved to Canada in 1991. She was ordained in 2001 by The Presbyterian Church in Canada and was admitted to The United Church of Canada in 2011. Eun-Joo comes to Shining Waters Regional Council with 22 years of pastoral ministry experience.

Eun-Joo moved to Sault Ste. Marie and served first as a chaplain at Sault Area Hospital and then served in communities of faith in both denominations in Sault Ste. Marie and the area. Her rich pastoral experience of ministry will guide her in her role as a Minister for Community of Faith and Pastoral Relations Support in Shining Waters Regional Council.

Eun-Joo and her partner, Sam, and their daughter, Tia, live in Sault Ste. Marie until they move to somewhere in/near the Shining Waters Regional Council boundary in the summer of 2024.
