Southern Ontario Affirm Gathering – October 24, 2026
On Saturday, October 24, Islington United Church will host a full day in-person gathering during the annual Affirm United/S’affirmer Ensemble conference. We are excited to extend Islington’s warm hospitality, inviting members of other affirming churches from Shining Waters and neighbouring regional councils to join us for this gathering. It will be an opportunity to expand the virtual conference to an in-person experience to learn, connect and celebrate together.

Islington United Church is located in the west end of Toronto, at 25 Burnhamthorpe Road, Etobicoke, ON M9A 1G9. The church is about a 10-minute walk from Islington Subway Station, and is close to the following major highways: Highway 427, Highway 401, and Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW)/Gardiner Expressway.
