June 14 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Free

Everyone is invited to the first of a series of EcoEvents organized by Bloor Street United Church’s Climate Motivator called “Addressing Eco-Anxiety: Countering Passivity with Direct Action.” This event is taking place on Sunday, June 14 from 12-1:30pm in the Oakwood Room of St. Matthew’s United Church at 729 St. Clair Ave West. in Toronto.

This event is intended to make space for climate/eco-anxiety. We will have a discussion around Zen and the Art of Saving the Planet, as well as Galatians 6. The passages will be read aloud during the event, but for those wanting to read ahead, the book is available at the Toronto Public Library.

The discussion is followed by an eco-grief circle.

The event is free, open to the public, and there will be refreshments provided.
