Queer Youth United (QYU) meets on Thursdays from 4-7pm at Beach United Church (140 Wineva Ave.) – you may drop in at any time between those hours. QYU is a weekly drop in for youth and young adults (15-29) who identify within the Queer community, and more specifically with a desire to focus on the experiences and needs of transgender people. Our first in-person fundraiser since before the COVID-19 pandemic. To help fund cooking classes, crafting workshops, mental health supports (and more!) we are hosting a talent show and silent auction. Tickets are by-donation at the door, with a suggested donation of $20. With talent from Toby's and Dorothy's Places and various community members, the show is sure to rock your socks off!
