This is a training session for private refugee sponsors with an expert to provide insight into how sponsors can develop best practice around handling this issue with newcomers. Sometimes there is a reluctance by newcomers to talk about racism or discrimination. We learn how to have that conversation to ensure security while also addressing feelings of intimidation and fear.
