Join Christians from various traditions and explore the theological significance of creation and its role in God’s divine plan through a drop-in (between 1:00 & 2:30 pm), interactive, self-guided experience.
This event is part of the Archdiocese of Toronto’s 2025 Festival of Faith for Christian Unity which is celebrating the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea and the adoption of the Nicene Creed. The Festival of Faith is a series of monthly ecumenical gatherings that celebrates our shared faith and invites us into a collective journey of prayer and reflection.
Northlea United’s contribution, “Creation as God’s Work”, focuses on deepening our understanding of creation as both a gift and a responsibility for humanity in our relationship with God and the world. Participants are invited to make a “pilgrimage” to outdoor installations that address particular aspects of this theme and provide an opportunity to reflect, pray, meditate, and explore our call to be in right relationship with God’s good creation.
Rain or shine. In the case of inclement weather, the event will take place indoors.
