Everyone is invited to our latest Make a Difference speaker series talk on Sunday, February 2 at 12:15 pm.
Lesley Hendry, Director of Growth & Development at Sistering, will tell us about the unique issues facing single women and gender-diverse individuals experiencing homelessness, hunger and trauma in downtown Toronto. Come to hear how Sistering, the only multi-service agency in the city dedicated to serving this vulnerable population, provides low-barrier, practical, and emotional support.
About Lesley: Lesley has extensive experience in the social service sector, and is proud to represent Sistering, a charity that has been empowering women for over 40 years. She looks forward to growing the organization’s capacity and ensuring its sustainability for as long as their services are needed, and is excited to come speak to Bloor Streeters about Sistering!
