Light Up the Night

You are invited to a Community Event – Light Up the Night
It’s that time of year when our community makes plans to join together and Light Up the Night. We want to fill the lengthening days with shared light, to experience love, joy, hope, peace and care in this struggling world. We definitely need each other now more than ever.
Please join Islington United Church on December 3rd at 6:00 pm at our Light Up the Night outdoor community event. We will light our outdoor tree, sing some carols accompanied by a brass ensemble, hear words of hope from our children’s chorus, share some home-made soup, warm cider or hot chocolate to celebrate community – hope, peace and goodwill.
Resonance Contemporary Worship
After the tree lighting and carol singing have finished around 7:00 pm, please join us in the church to share in a new contemporary worship experience, Resonance. In engaging with this new approach geared to connect to our younger community through contemporary music and relevant themes, you will experience a relaxed and friendly environment where you can meet others within your community and beyond. You are more than welcome here.
