Join the Ecumenical Chaplaincy at the University of Toronto for an outdoor evening of community and celebration!
Featured speaker is The Rev. Dr. Bob Faris, Moderator Elect of the General Assembly of The Presbyterian Church in Canada and Co-Convenor of the Rainbow Communion. The Presbyterian Connection describes Bob: “As a gay man, Bob has experienced the harm done to people who identify as LGBTQI2+ in the church. He has sought to live with integrity, while calling the church to change its doctrine and practice that has diminished and harmed God’s beloved LGBTQI2+ children.” Bob has a passion for inclusion and God’s call to justice.
The Calvin/Deer Park choir will share a beautiful song, All of Who I Am, by Amanda Udis-Kessler, a composer who specializes in music and lyrics for liberal/progressive religious people and communities.
RSVP/registration at www.bit.ly/ECUTPGP2022 This is a free event, but ECUT kindly suggests a donation to the chaplaincy’s ministry on campus.
Bring a friend and join us for a lovely evening together. We’re excited to be gathering in-person, with conversation and refreshments.
