COVID-19 Gathering For Ministry Personnel
Tuesday March 24, at 10.00 a.m. for an hour
Last week a group of 50 ministry personnel gathered on Zoom to share questions and information in response to COVID-19 and provide each other with support and companionship in these demanding times. Lots of information and insights emerged. Copies of the notes and information can be found below.
Those gathered decided it would be good to meet weekly for support and to share updates, which at this time are happening so quickly it is difficult to keep up.
When people are updated and hear that a group of people are developing strategies around topics of concern there is a profound sense of relief being expressed. We all need to know that we are not alone. The regional and general council staff have totally shifted our attention to support Communities of Faith and their leaders as you respond to this time of extreme disruption. We want to ensure you are hearing the most recent updates as well as provide time for us to be together in community to add to the times you are probably arranging with smaller groups of colleagues.
