About our Guest Speaker

Rev. Melody Duncanson Hales offers stewardship support for communities of faith in Shining Waters and Canadian Shield Regions. After serving almost a decade in rural congregational ministry, Melody returned to Northern Ontario in 2008 to offer program in stewardship and mission, and has served conference, regional and national ministries. 

She’s a cheerleader – listening, encouraging, telling your stories of hope and generosity wherever and whenever she can. She loves participating in worship, teaching, exploring, coaching and meeting the challenge of being disciples together in today’s changing world. Melody lives in Sudbury with her husband Chris and their children Lachlan, Padraig and Kaleo.
