St. Andrew’s United Church
10 a.m. – 12 Noon: Worship, Presentation, Discussion

You are warmly invited to join other United Church pensioners for an engaging meeting with Shining Waters staff person, Kim Uyede-Kai. Her full title barely fits on a business card: Communities of Faith and Pastoral Relations Minister, Intercultural Diversity, Anti-Racism, and Right Relations, Shining Waters Regional Council.
How do these responsibilities go together? How are Shining Waters Communities of Faith doing in response to the church-related calls to action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and The United Church of Canada becoming an intercultural and anti-racist denomination? Kim will explain her work and invite us into a conversation about how faith and justice intersect on a personal and collective level.
You are invited to gather in person at St. Andrew’s United Church, located at 117 Bloor St. East, in Toronto. (MAP). If you are using TTC, get off at Yonge Street, walk west on the South side. OR…. use the drop off and underground parking available off Hayden Street.
10 a.m. beverages and treats

10: 50 remarks from Kim
11:20 Q & A
