Proposals
A significant portion of the Fall Regional Meeting’s agenda will be considering and voting on proposals intended for action by either the Regional Council, or by the General Council next summer. The following are proposals that have been submitted for consideration at the regional meeting:

Town Hall Meetings
A key piece of this year’s proposal process will be two town hall info sessions where Regional Council members will have an opportunity for clarification of the proposals and discussion of the issues involved in preparation for making a decision at the regional meeting on November 13th. The hope is that we will be able to engage in a more fulsome conversation than might be possible in the regional meeting itself and that people will have time to reflect on the issues prior to being asked to vote
The first town hall was held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. A recording of that meeting is available by request by emailing swrc@united-church.ca.
The second town hall was held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 7 p.m. A recording of that meeting is available by request by emailing swrc@united-church.ca.
The final town hall was held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 7 p.m. A recording of that meeting is available by request by emailing swrc@united-church.ca.
Proposal Process

Deadline
The deadlines for submission for proposals to be discussed at the Fall Regional Meeting has now passed. Submitted proposals will be discussed at town halls before the regional meeting. See above for more details on our town hall meetings.
