Beach United Church is pleased to host an online reading on Zoom followed by a Q and A with James Hoggan, author of “I’m Right and You’re an Idiot – The Toxic State of Public Discourse and How to Clean It Up”. James examines the desperate state of current public discourse through interviews with respected thinkers from various walks of life. Their wisdom is shared and offers deep insights and tools on how to navigate our current environment. This is a handbook for anyone today who wants to discuss any of the critical challenges facing our society ‘in the public square’, foremost being the climate crisis.
James Hoggan’s public relations career spans over 30 years. He is president of his Vancouver PR firm Hoggan and Associates. He is also past chair of the David Suzuki Foundation board. He lives on Salt Spring Island and has written two other books “Climate Cover-up” and “Do the Right Thing”.
