SUMMARY:We Are All Water Protectors: Environmental Racism and Reimagining Water Stewardship
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a free\, day-long and evening event\, largely led by Indigenous leaders\, where Ceremony and Ancestral Water Knowledge will underpin the whole gathering. A Sacred Fire will be lit at 8:30 am\, and programing will begin at 10 am\, see the program below for detailed information. An art installation will be unveiled\, our Indigenous garden and a Great Lakes floor map can be explored\, and there will be book sales\, activist art projects\, and opportunities to visit with Indigenous organization leaders and community water activists. A feast will be shared at 5:30 pm\, followed by music and story-telling in the evening. All ages welcome.
