SUMMARY:Holy Week Meditation
DESCRIPTION:Please join Islington United Church in person for Holy Week meditation on April 3 at 7:00pm in the Sanctuary. Led by James Aitchison\, we will sit together in a circle and allow ourselves to slow down a bit as we open to the movement of the Spirit. Guided by occasional pointers and words of scripture\, there will be lots of open space for God’s silent inner guidance. \nThis safe and welcoming environment offers the perfect opportunity during Holy Week to try out something new or deepen an existing practice. \nEnter through the doors at the back of the church\, accessible from the driveway closest to Dundas Street. If possible\, aim to arrive a few minutes before 7:00 pm to get yourself settled into the space. No experience is needed and all are welcome.

DESCRIPTION:Bloor Street Church is offering a new opportunity for dialogue\, learning\, and community. Midweek Midrash is a dialogue that looks at different kinds of ‘texts’ – such as a Brené Brown podcast\, a movie\, a lecture by someone like Thomson Highway\, or a book. MM will happen on Zoom\, two Wednesday evenings per month (1st and 3rd) at 7pm.
