SUMMARY:ISARC Interfaith Spring Prayer Vigil 2026
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the ISARC Interfaith Prayer Vigil\, a multi-faith prayer event grounded in ISARC’s core values. Taking place on the grounds of the Ontario Legislature\, this gathering will bring together faith leaders from diverse traditions to offer prayers and reflections for justice\, compassion\, and dignity in Ontario.\nTogether we will name each of our elected provincial MPPs and hold them in prayer\, calling for policies that support those most affected by poverty and exclusion. \nStarting at 10:00 am. Every 15 minutes a faith leader will offer a prayer from their particular faith tradition and some names of MPPs will be read. \nVigil Candles will be blessed and provided to all participants to bring home to their particular faith community \nAll are welcome to stand in prayerful solidarity\, and witness this shared inter-faith commitment to a more just and equitable society. \nRSVP Now: coordinator@isarc.ca or eagle.susan@ymail to let us know you can attend or if you have questions

SUMMARY:Crucified Woman: The Play
DESCRIPTION:Crucified Woman stands at Emmanuel College as a reminder of the experiences facing women throughout the world who are subjected to violence\, persecution\, and torture. Her story isn’t simple for getting to this place\, and when Margaret Laurence viewed her at Bloor Street United Church\, the acclaimed author professed that she believed in God. While Crucified Woman was being critiqued in the court of public opinion\, Laurence herself was experiencing threats of her books being banned across Ontario and Canada. Together these two realities to tell the story of Crucified Woman: The Play. \nCollege Street United Church\n454 College Street\nJuly 1st – 8 pm\, July 2nd – 8 pm\, July 3rd – 8 pm\, July 4th – 8 pm\, July 5th – 8 pm\, July 7th – 8 pm\, July 8th – 8 pm\, July 9th – 8 pm\, July 10th – 8 pm\, July 11th – 8 pm\nTickets Available via Toronto Fringe Festival Website
