DESCRIPTION:Maundy Thursday is the Thursday before Easter and serves as a commemoration of the Last Supper. \nJoin Islington United Church for Maundy Thursday dinner\, followed by worship in the Sanctuary at 7:00 pm – the first of three worship experiences\, in person and live-streamed\, that mark the road to Easter. Register for dinner at https://islingtonunited.org/event/maundy-thursday-dinner-2023/ \nFollowing dinner\, you are more than welcome to join us in person in the Sanctuary\, or online from wherever you may be\, for a quiet\, contemplative Maundy Thursday worship experience. \nWe will join together in the Lord’s Supper and recall that it is on this evening that Jesus washed his disciples’ feet and gave them a new commandment: Love one another\, as I have loved you (John 13:34). \nIf possible\, aim to arrive a few minutes before 7:00 pm to get yourself settled into the space. \nIf joining online\, click here on Thursday\, April 6 at 7:00 pm: https://islingtonunited.org/event/it-was-on-a-thursday-maundy-thursday/
